Portal Cranes are designed for a variety of applications, including loading and unloading of supply vehicles, offshore installation work, deck handling, and more. They are often found in ports, industrial docks, large scale workstations and industrial work yards.
YT offers two different portal crane types: a single boom and a four-bar linkage, both of which are PLC controlled. The lifting mechanism, amplitude-changing mechanism, and traveling mechanism utilize an AC variable frequency drive for a high performance. The four-bar linkage portal crane is designed with an optimized boom system and features a small horizontal movement, stable amplitude-changing, and low power consumption. Its derricking speed reaches 50m/min. The single boom portal crane features a simple structure, light weight, large lifting capacity, and low cost. The derricking speed of single boom portal crane reaches 24m/min. These two portal crane types are both suitable for loading and unloading of supply vessels. Typically, a portal crane with an operating radius of 35m meets loading and unloading requirements for 5000 to 10,000-ton ships. Selection of the right portal crane should be fully discussed between the user, manufacturer and design institute regarding components, parameters, applications, and more.
The single boom portal crane features a simple structure, light weight, low cost and easy installation. The four-bar linkage portal crane features a small lifting object swing, a short hoisting rope that is exceptionally wear resistant, and a high work efficiency, giving it a wider application range.
The working level of single boom portal crane is A7, while the working level of a four-bar linkage portal crane reaches A8.

We will dispatch engineers for on-site installation and training according to your requirements. Customers are responsible for transportation and accommodation fees for our engineers. Our training contents include mechanical and electric features of the cranes.
We provide a one-year manufacturer's warranty for our products from the date of installation and commissioning. During the warranty period, we will provide maintenance service and replacement parts at no cost and will also dispatch engineers for on-site maintenance at no cost. After the warranty period ends, we still offer paid maintenance services.
